Open Neighborhood Meeting | Traffic Changes with Bus-40 Construction

  • 11 Apr 2017
  • 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Multipurpose Room, Gateway YWCA, 1300 S. Main St.

Join us in an open meeting with City officials on Tuesday, April 11 at 7 p.m., in the Multipurpose Room at the Gateway Y to find out more about how construction on Bus-40 (slated for later this year) will affect traffic flow in and around the Washington Park neighborhood.

   This meeting is open to all.

   WPNA board members Dave Urena and Jim Hullihan, and legacy presidents Keith Wilson and Leslie Wakeford have drawn up a list of concerns and questions to ask the City, and have made arrangements for an open neighborhood meeting with city representatives to clarify the plans for detours and how the re-routed traffic will affect our neighborhood. WPNA wants to make sure that our neighborhood is informed about – and involved in – decisions affecting the traffic in and around Washington Park by reviewing
  • maps and timelines for construction;
  • current and anticipated traffic loads;
  • changing and re-routed traffic;
  • signage and traffic control;
  • opportunities for neighborhood input; and
  • publicity and information from the city.

Bring your own questions for discussion or clarification.
