Neighborhood Development and My Residence | Open Neighborhood Meeting

  • 18 Oct 2016
  • 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Multipurpose Room, Gateway Y, 1300 S. Main St.

Have you ever wondered how Winston-Salem’s zoning regulations and designations affect what is permissible on your property in Washington Park? How do the regulations in the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) influence alterations you want to make to your house or property? How does being a National Register Historic District restrict what what you can build or add onto your home?

Join us on Tuesday, October 18, in the multipurpose room at the Gateway YWCA from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m to find out more about development and the neighborhood.

To address these questions, WPNA’s Neighborhood Development Committee has invited Kirk Ericson, Principal Planner with the City of Winston-Salem, to talk about business and residential zoning, the UDO, historic district regulations, how these guidelines and regulations are enforced, and field questions you may have about regulations and development. Bring your questions and curiosity. All are invited to attend.
