Preserve Historic Forsyth’s Preservation Month 2015 is almost here! The month of May will be packed with celebrations, guided tours, and educational opportunities all geared at historic preservation.

Also, please join Preserve Historic Forsyth and LMI Builders for the Preservation Month Kickoff Party on Friday, May 1, 5 - 8 p.m., at the newly renovated Rosenbacher House, 848 W. Fifth St., Winston-Salem.

The house is one of the grandest Neo-Classical Revival homes in Winston-Salem. Owners Joe and Jodi Williams began the restoration process in January 2014 and are excited to reveal the fruits of their labor. Come see the house’s spectacular details, including its parlor with an Ionic-columned arcade, decorative inlay flooring, arched sliding pocket doors, leaded windows, beautiful mantles and fireplaces, and original fixtures.

Preserve Historic Forsyth is a non-profit group

founded in 2007 that serves to promote, protect and advocate for historic resources in Forsyth County and to provide a citizen voice for historic preservation in our community.

PHF is the only countywide organization devoted to the preservation of historic resources and works to increase public awareness of the economic and cultural benefits of preserving historic buildings, landscapes, neighborhoods, bridges, dams, and roads. PHF has many of the same goals the Washington Park Neighborhood Association and would love to have you as a guest!
